Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American singer and actress is very famous. She was raised by her mother, within the USA. Her childhood was filled with racist taunts and felt unloved. When she was in 9th grade she started to feel more confident when she was applauded by her teachers for singing at a school's audition. Not only did it boost her confidence but her dreams were changed. The 22-year-old earned a degree from Julliard School in New York. She began her career at age 23 with Paul Simon's The Capeman on Broadway and The You've Got Mail film. Her most memorable break came from her performance as The Lady of The Lake as she appeared in the original Broadway version of Spamalot. She was awarded the Tony Award and received great appreciation for her performance. Later that year, as Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy on ABC the show, she received more recognition. As a professional singer She has also recorded songs as well as an extended work. Also, she is an activist who is active to promote LGBT rights.
