The stage shows she has performed comprise a range of stage productions. Her name was selected as "Celebrity Beautiful of the Month" in January of 2004 by the magazine Ebony. Leal got married to filmmaker Bev Land and they had a child. Presently, she is in a relationship with director-choreographer Paul Becker.
